New Cheese Pairing Line Up!

Hi all!

I think it’s safe to say that many of you are probably like my husband Ethan, our assistant winemaker, in that you LOVE cheese.  I mean it’s pretty easy to do since cheese is creamy goodness with so many options.  So, if you didn’t know, we offer cheese pairings with our wine  flights at the tasting room.  It’s a great way to experience wine because you get to taste how wine can in fact work with food to create a wonderful flavor for the palette.  Our new cheeses are working harmoniously with our wines and I’ve had many of our guests commenting on how much they are enjoying it.  So, here’s the line up…

2010 Sauvignon Blanc paired with Mahon, a Spanish Cow’s Milk Cheese

2010 Chardonnay paired with Primadonna, a 6 year aged Dutch Cow’s Milk Cheese

2009 Pinot Noir paired with Bleu D’Auvergne, a creamy French Blue Cheese

2008 GSM (Rhone Blend) paired with Beemaster Classic, an 18 month aged Dutch Cow’s Milk Gouda

2009 Petite Sirah paired with Reggiano Stravecchio, a 2 year aged Italian Cow’s Milk Parmesan

2007 Reserve Silken (Our Cab/Syrah/Petite Sirah blend) paired with Istarra, a Basque Sheep’s Milk Cheese

2007 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon paired with Fiscalini, a 1 1/2 year aged clothbound Cow’s Milk Cheddar from California

…Sounds pretty tasty to me!  I’m even getting a little hungry writing this up!  Anyways, come by our 1220 Park Street, downtown Paso tasting room to experience these fabulous pairings!  We serve these pairings daily till we run out, so you can also check by calling us at 805-286-4028 to make sure that we have the cheeses.  Here’s to a great week for all of you!

Cheers!

Cecily
